The visual images displayed on this web site were created in various ways: The galleries "Family Portraits", "Ancestor Images", and "Drawings from Photos" were originally drawn in pencil from photographs (some of them very small) with the aid of a magnifying glass. The "Mixed Media" gallery contains combinations of pencil drawing, ink drawing, and painting (some using white ink and shades of grey on black paper). The "Digital Images" start with scanning an original drawn sketch using Adobe Photoshop software. The drawing or painting can then be altered with the ability to build levels of texture as transparent or opaque as desired.
